Knitspiration - Jo Gordon
I have fallen in love with Jo Gordon knits and her Vintage style lookbook.
I also would quite like her models hair:)
As I have been ill for the last few days I am trying to be productive and knit while watching old films, its the most I have had time to knit for a long time and I am trying to finish off some projects that have been on my 'In Progress' list!
Have you got any nice projects on the go?
Happy Sunday everyone!!

Ceramics
While ill in bed readers, I inevitably take breaks from Netflix
(Miss Fishers Murder Mysterys is a firm favourite!)
and then spend a couple of hours trying not to blow all my hard earned cash on Etsy.
This week I am a bit obsessed with Ceramics. Especially ones you can put cute little plants in.
I think I need more green in my life as I have been wanting to buy some plants for ages,.
Anywho here are some of my favourites:
Hope you are all well and have a cosy weekend planned!

Cold Comfort Farm
Cold Comfort Farm is one of my favourite books and I never realised they had adapted it into a film until recently!
I took some screen shots as I think the main character Flora dresses perfectly for this mid autumn/winter weather we are having.
I especially love her knitted hat and the last outfit, I am dying to get a 1930s/1940s style suit.
I think I want this one. . . . . .have to start saving my pennies!!!!

Named Clothing
Oh my goodness I think I may have just died and gone to sewing heaven.
Seriously.
But before I entertain you all with more dramatics I will tell you what the dickens I am talking about.
I spent the best part of yesterday getting lot in the wonderful cyber-world of sewing blogs. I only let myself indulge every now and again as it can be all consuming.
Anyway on my travels I fell into the amazing world of Named Clothing.
''Named garments are a combination of Scandinavian clean-lined simplicity and interesting details. The aim of the collections is to bring a new perspective to making one's own clothes and to support ethical and ecological consuming in contrast to a clothing industry focused on fast fashion. Self-made clothing also allows for freedom of choice; by choosing one's colors and materials and by changing garment details, the customer can be part of the design process. If dressing is a way to express oneself then self-made clothes are self-expression at its best.''
I am loving the clean lines at the moment, and these Finnish sisters are doing a amazing job.
Now I just have to decide which one to try first. . . .
Happy Monday!

The awesome guys over at the Crafty Fox Markets in Brixton have invited Pink Sunshine down to have fun with them on Sunday the 8th of December:)
I cant wait!! It will be my first ever craft fair and so its excitement tinged with nervousness, but having a look at who else will be trading that day I have a feeling I will spend more pennies than I will come home with!!
Come over to the new website to see who will be there, and make sure if you are in the area to set the date and pop down!!
Happy Sunday!
