Jack is wise

*

Just when I had reached the point of no return today
and felt a little like I was drowning in stuff
 I read this.
And it made me feel better.
Jack is a wise man.
So I am taking a few minutes out now to remember why I love my life.

Happy Wednesday everyone:)

Ghana

Just some of the best bits of my trip:)
It seems like a million years ago now, so strange that only 2 weeks ago we were there!
It really is a glorious place, the people, food, just the general feeling are all awesome.
Its hard to put into words really what we did and how I felt about the whole thing but hopefully you will be able to tell from my photos:)
Happy Friday everyone!!

Momo Wang

When I saw Momo Wang on Miss Moss last week, I couldn't help but fall in love with her Third Hand Collection.

Seriously, its genius in my humble opinion.

I love the fact she used up-cycled clothes she found in her home town in China.
I love the rural setting in the villages near her home town.
I love the beautiful feel of the photos.
I love the colours.
I wish I came up with this idea.
Genius:)

Happy Monday everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying the snow:)

Planning

So Hi Everyone :)
I am back from my adventure to Africa and its snowing.
Great.

Usually I love snow, but not straight after spending 3 weeks in a country that has no concept of cold and whose cold season never goes below 30 centegrade!

I will be posting some photos of my trip later this week when I have time, as I have hardly had space to breath after being shoved back into reality! Not that I am complaining really, Its good to be busy, it fights off the post adventure blues.

And whilst I was away we entered 2013! I feel like I missed the whole reflective period but I have been spending the last few days planning, or thinking about the next few months.
As not to set the bar too unreachably high I thought I would note down 3 things that I would like to focus on the next few months.

1. Slow Down - When I was away I realised how much I relied on technology, and how much time I really wasted on the internet. It ridiculous, and when I was away from the big wide world of the cyber space I remembered how peaceful it can be to just sit with your own thoughts looking at the view and taking everything in. So I am going to try and be more disciplined and only shedual time for the things I need to get done, and not worry too much about 'Keeping up' with everything.

2. Do some personal projects - In line with the first point the time I save by staying away from the internet I can spend on doing some personal creative projects, things just for me, not for the business or anyone else. I want to finally teach myself some more sewing techniques, and hopefully my plan to sew most of my clothes will be put into action:)

3. Try not to spend too much and SAVE!! - I have quite a bit I want to do this year, and to do it I need the money. And that means I cant go and spend my months earnings in the anthropology sale. . . .even if I REALLY want to.

I hope all you lovelies are well and keeping wrapped up if you are in the cold:)
Happy Monday!
