I have been reading quite a bit this month, I love fairy story's in particular.
There was just something about artist Catherine Hydes work that reminded me of some of my favourite stories. Her pictures almost seem like tales in themselves.

Within my images I use the archetypical hare, stag, owl and fish as emblems of wildness, fertility and permanence: their movements and journey through the paintings act as vehicles that bind the elements and the seasons together.”
