Autumn

*

Autumn is the time of colours, warmth, hot chocolate, stationary, blankets, and new goals.

1. Cook more - I have hundreds of recipes in my Yum folder on Pinterest and never try any of them. So I want to try at least one every week:)
2. Exercise - Again I have let this go a bit recently and its not good, I want to find a fun dance class in my area and get moving again!
3. Stick with the sewing - I was on a sewing roll over the summer and want to keep that going. Some nice dresses in wool sound like fun!!
4. Read - When I was a child I used to read about 10 books a week. . . .and that's only because that was the librarys limit!! I don't know why I don't make ore time to read any more. Turn off the computer/TV/mobile phone and just read. That's my goal:)

Do you guys have any goals this season??

Planning

So Hi Everyone :)
I am back from my adventure to Africa and its snowing.
Great.

Usually I love snow, but not straight after spending 3 weeks in a country that has no concept of cold and whose cold season never goes below 30 centegrade!

I will be posting some photos of my trip later this week when I have time, as I have hardly had space to breath after being shoved back into reality! Not that I am complaining really, Its good to be busy, it fights off the post adventure blues.

And whilst I was away we entered 2013! I feel like I missed the whole reflective period but I have been spending the last few days planning, or thinking about the next few months.
As not to set the bar too unreachably high I thought I would note down 3 things that I would like to focus on the next few months.

1. Slow Down - When I was away I realised how much I relied on technology, and how much time I really wasted on the internet. It ridiculous, and when I was away from the big wide world of the cyber space I remembered how peaceful it can be to just sit with your own thoughts looking at the view and taking everything in. So I am going to try and be more disciplined and only shedual time for the things I need to get done, and not worry too much about 'Keeping up' with everything.

2. Do some personal projects - In line with the first point the time I save by staying away from the internet I can spend on doing some personal creative projects, things just for me, not for the business or anyone else. I want to finally teach myself some more sewing techniques, and hopefully my plan to sew most of my clothes will be put into action:)

3. Try not to spend too much and SAVE!! - I have quite a bit I want to do this year, and to do it I need the money. And that means I cant go and spend my months earnings in the anthropology sale. . . .even if I REALLY want to.

I hope all you lovelies are well and keeping wrapped up if you are in the cold:)
Happy Monday!
