Russian Matchboxes

Hello Friends.

Its been a while:)

January and February are best spent snuggled up watching films. I do tend to hibernate in the winter and I have decided this year that's OK!!

Anywho today the sun is shining and my brother saw a bumble bee the other day, which he reliably informs me means spring is on its way:)

My addiction to Pinterest continues. I got a little distracted the other day when I discovered the wonderful world of Russian Matchboxes:

Aren't they beautiful!! The colours are gorgeous, I would love to hang a couple of these as prints :)

Catherine Hyde Illustrations

I have been reading quite a bit this month, I love fairy story's in particular.

There was just something about artist Catherine Hydes work that reminded me of some of my favourite stories. Her pictures almost seem like tales in themselves.

While ill in bed readers, I inevitably take breaks from Netflix

 (Miss Fishers Murder Mysterys is a firm favourite!)

and then spend a couple of hours trying not to blow all my hard earned cash on Etsy.

This week I am a bit obsessed with Ceramics. Especially ones you can put cute little plants in.

I think I need more green in my life as I have been wanting to buy some plants for ages,.
