Pink Sunshine Crafts A/W collection

I am very happy to announce that the Pink Sunshine A/W collection is now available in the Shop!!!!! :)

The collection consists of two felt brooches and two headbands, with more on the way next week:)
I have been really influenced by folk style for a while now and really wanted to bring that kind of feel to this winter collection. Its the first time I have designed pieces with each other in mind and I hope it shows!
So I would like to introduce you too :

At the edge of the deep green wood lives the Bear. His name is not of our language, but needless to say he is wise and has been the guardian of the forest for many years.

A beautiful handmade brooch, take a bit of the forest with you wherever you go :) perfect to accessories your bag, coat or outfit!!

Dala Horse:

The Dala Horse, symbol of freedom and tradition. I really love Scandinavian Folk tales and was heavily influenced by them for my A/W Collection.

A perfect accessory for your bag, coat and outfit. This way you can take nature with you wherever you go :)

This has my favourite colour combo of the moment, Rose and Forest green :)

When looking at Folk Inspiration I began to see that Turquoise and red was my favourite colour combination. It brings to mind a Russian maiden picking flowers in the forest :)

A beautiful felt handmade headband with two black ribbon ties so you can tie in a bow at the back of the head.

A lovely bright folk Navajo inspired headband, perfect for this seasons trends!!

A beautiful handmade headband with Plaited leather ties so you can tie in a bow at the back of the head.

So there you have it, The first ever Pink Sunshine Collection :)

Let me know what you think and be sure to keep tuned this weekend for a look-book  :)  and some more pieces next week!!!!

Hope you are having a fabulous Friday!!!

Renegade London

I have been reading American craft blogs for a while now and Renegade is almost a religion over there, all over the states some of the best Home-made and vintage artists meet to sell their wares together. So imagine my joy to hear they were coming to London!!! So on Saturday afternoon I set off with my new camera to capture some of the fun and get inspired :)

It was really lovely to meet and chat to some of the vendors, quite a few being from over the pond, but a few home grown too!!!
Including the truly lovely Jess and Sadie Quinn from Small Art. Jess' gorgeous art and dolls were a definite favourite with me and I found her stall soooooooo inspiring. If I'm honest I wanted to start a collection of her bits. . . . .if fact when I become a millionaire I just might!!! Make sure to have a look at her Shop and Blog :)

A few of my other favourites were:

Lucy Panes Illustrations - They have a folky fairytale style that I just LOVE
*Robin and Mould - Such a cute friendly couple and fun screenprinted goods, I fell in love with their foxes, I may be treating myself to  tote bag soon!
Alice Gabb - Another friendly and oh so fashionable lady, her stationary is vintage inspired and makes me want to sit down and write more letters.

I wish I had taken more photos but I was so engrossed in looking at all the beautiful things that I got a bit distracted! But please have a look at these independent artists and give them your support!

It really was an inspiring afternoon and has given me a bit of a shove up my bum to get Pink Sunshine Crafts really up and running, so expect some exciting things over the next few weeks :)

Hope you are all having a lovely and inspiring week! :)

There is only one perfect view, that of the sky over our heads

So yesterday I had a lovely day off. . . .It was bliss, I slept in, read, ate and watched films.
In fact I watched A room with a view over breakfast, pretty great combination actually.
 I had never realised how old it was . . . made 5 years before I was born!!!!! But soooooooooooooo beautiful. . . . . . .

Italy. . . . .The clothes. .. . . Helena's hair. . . . . . . . .

I'm really not sure if you could get a more beautiful feeling film, one that reminds you of all the wonderful things in the world, you know?

Do you have a film you always watch when you need picking up?

Home is where the heart is

Lulu Guiness Via English Muse

Alice Temperly Via English Muse

I am full of room and studio envy at the moment! Dream house would have a Studio where I could craft to my hearts content and not be crammed in my room,  and a massive library as my bookshelves are far too small for the amount of books I have at the moment. . . .I am thinking Beauty and the Beast size if you were wondering, with those sweeping ladders.. .  . .
Love the Chest of drawers from I Just Might Explode, I may have to dig up some paint and do mine!
What would you have in your dream house?

PS. Who's with me in building a fort this october?????

Hello Sunshine

So yes summer has arrived . . . . . .a little late But its made such a nice change to the dreadfully grey august I don't think anyone minds! I have been a bit quiet this week due to this spectacular weather, its not meant to last long so I thought I would make the most of it and leave the computer inside.
Yesterday my friend Izzie and I went on a beautiful ride along the Thames. It was Hetties ( My Adopted Bike ) Maiden voyage and although she still needs a little bit of TLC ( and a Jess make over ) we made it there and back safely which is the most important thing :) I have to admit though that as I haven't ridden a bike for a while my bum is feeling the affects today!!

Izzie :)

The River

I wish I had taken more photos as it was really beautiful. . . . another time.
What have you guys been up to?

PS. As it is a Sunday I have some music for you:

I really love the sound of this girl. . . .cant wait to hear some more

Happy Sunday everyone!!
