I hope you are well and enjoying the start of 2014.

I cant believe its the new year already!! After a busy time last week flying around the country visiting friends, its been nice to have a quiet couple of days to reassess and make plans for the coming year:)

I'm sure I will be sharing some of those goals here when I have them a bit more concrete in my head.

But in the meantime, I have put some cute little bits in the shop today:

Pink Sunshine at Crafty Fox Market

The awesome guys over at the Crafty Fox Markets in Brixton have invited Pink Sunshine down to have fun with them on Sunday the 8th of December:)

I cant wait!! It will be my first ever craft fair and so its excitement tinged with nervousness, but having a look at who else will be trading that day I have a feeling I will spend more pennies than I will come home with!!

A/W13 Collection Inspiration

Today I wanted to share some of the inspiration behind the new pieces in the shop.

For this collection I was really inspired by:

✵ Warm colours - Plum, Tan, Rose, colours that are found in nature and evoke the sense of warmth.

✵ Folk Designs - As always I am inspired by the Scandinavian patterns and aesthetic especially in their folk designs. 

✵ Nature - especially textures, woodland creatures and nature drawings like the ones of the moths above. I love moths:)

✵ English Heritage - Tweed, Manor houses, Tea and everything else to do with the history of the nation I live in.

I really enjoyed making this collection. I can always tell that when I seem to be wearing the pieces non stop!!

It is small, but I am proud of it and it came together easily.

 I will be adding bits and pieces as the winter goes on so keep your eyes peeled:)

We had fun shooting a bit of a look book as well for Pink Sunshine and also my new project Sky & Sea, which is a mens accessory range! 

I am so excited to share this with you all and that's what I will be focusing on for the next couple of months, getting that up and running.

After my crazy work summer it was awesome to take last week off and go and visit my friend on the Isle Of Wight, just off the south coast of England.

I love visiting her anyway but it was all the sweeter for the beautiful weather we had all week:)

Friends, tea, beach, cliffs, charity shops, pretty things, hills, driving, fish and chips

= lovely week:)

I am excited for the start of September, there is something about this month that sings to me of new starts, crisper air and new stationary.

I always like to think about goals and things in September, even more than January. I have some exciting things coming up too, which I should be sharing over the next month so keep your eyes open!!!

Jewellery Inspiration - Africa

I'm sure some of you can remember I was in Ghana a few months ago over the Winter holidays.

It was AH-mazing as I'm sure you can imagine:)

I came home so inspired by all the sights, colours, smells and beautiful people.

The last few weeks I've spent finally using some of that inspiration and turning it into creation.

So in a few days I will be launching the Out Of Africa Pink Sunshine Summer collection:)

But before I show you guys the finished Jewellery I wanted to share some of the visual inspiration behind the pieces.

It really was the colours that had the biggest impact on me, it has made me dare to be a bit different and experiment with brighter tones than I have done before.

I cant wait to reveal the new collection on Friday:)
