I love looking at period shows for fashion inspiration . . . . Cause who doesn't want to go round and solve mysterys in awesome hats? Life goals. 

I'm really drawn to the shapes and colours Tuppence wears on the recent BBC adaption of Partners in crime, Agatha Cristies Tommy and Tuppence books. 

Plus her hair really makes me want to cut mine again!!!

Cold Comfort Farm

Cold Comfort Farm is one of my favourite books and I never realised they had adapted it into a film until recently! 

I took some screen shots as I think the main character Flora dresses perfectly for this mid autumn/winter weather we are having.

I especially love her knitted hat and the last outfit, I am dying to get a 1930s/1940s style suit.

I think I want this one. . . . . .have to start saving my pennies!!!!

I have something to admit.

I'm not really a summer person.

Its not that I don't like the Sun, or the long drawn out days or even spending time lazing in the park or on the beach.

Its just I have to stay faithful to my first love- Autumn.

And nothing makes me crave Autumn more than seeing all of the Fall lines become available to ogle over:)

I love Kater's from All This Happiness Wearing Book series, it's one of my favourite fashion/book nerd concepts!! She pairs the colours so pretty too!!

I would love to have the courage to do some outfit posts, especially if they are as inventive as Katers.

Maybe this summer is the time to unleash my looks on the internet :)

I'm sure you all know my love of vintage. 

Its a funny thing really when you think about it, how its become a bit of a buzz word, everything has to be VINTAGE. 

Which is fine, really, but for me that's not what its about. 

I love the clothes, how they fit and make me feel.

I love the music, the dancing.

I love how it was a simpler time, which some days I really crave.
