I love Kater's from All This Happiness Wearing Book series, it's one of my favourite fashion/book nerd concepts!! She pairs the colours so pretty too!!

I would love to have the courage to do some outfit posts, especially if they are as inventive as Katers.

Maybe this summer is the time to unleash my looks on the internet :)

Vintage Blogs

I'm sure you all know my love of vintage. 

Its a funny thing really when you think about it, how its become a bit of a buzz word, everything has to be VINTAGE. 

Which is fine, really, but for me that's not what its about. 

I love the clothes, how they fit and make me feel.

I love the music, the dancing.

I love how it was a simpler time, which some days I really crave.

There are some Bloggers who really fit how I feel about the whole thing, so here's my post to them.

Johanna is just awesome, I want her wardrobe and vast collection of scarves and hats, does this girl know how to dress it up!

Sew Envy

The electronic world is not being kind to me today.

I had planned to do some editing work etc but my computer just does not want to play.

I think it may be a virus from downloading a load of old Hitchcock the other day,

just please dont tell my brother, He has a mild nervous breakdown whenever he has to clean off my computer!!

Anyway to help calm my frustration I have been on a Blog voyage, discovering new places to explore.

My sewing obsession is continuing and I actually made (pretty much finished:) my first skirt the other day! 

And I have discovered a few new sewing blogs in which to drool/enviously stare at:)

This girl is AMAZING, she puts the fun back into sewing. I LOVE her use of African prints 

(I may actually dig into my rather large stash I brought back from Ghana to make a skirt like hers:)

The sun is shining here in London!!! Yay!

Its amazing how much better it can make you feel, I actually had my lunch out in the garden today, and am trying very hard to get my lesson plans done rather than go for a wander in the park!!

On a day like today all I want to do is throw loads of flowers in my hair.

And no where else does flowers quite like K is for kani.
